Experience of the company

The company unites of the technicians obtained sufficient experience on ship repair yard “Ukraine” and in subdivisions of BLASCO at the previous years.

They carried out of repairs and maintenance of fire safety systems and equipments, implemented written systems for inspection, reporting and testing, under approval of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, BV and LRS during 3-5 year period. Our technicians, engaged in surveys and maintenance of fire safety systems and equipments, served more than 100 units of ships.

Training of personnel

Each engaged specialist passed corresponding training at Training Center in Odessa Ship repair Yard. Thereafter they passed further training on courses in technical department of BLASCO.

Company has an internal system of training technicians that allow to servicing of fire safety systems and equipment with high professional standards and corresponds with Class Society requirements.

Technicians had passed internal training to confirm qualification level and correspond with Classification Society requirements annually.

Technicians of the company passed corresponding training and examination in accordance with Rules of Classification Societies such as Lloyds Register of Shipping, Det Norske Veritas and Russian Maritime Register of Shipping in Odessa State Maritime University.

Results of training are inserted into technician’s personal files.


Technicians

Staff of Fire Safety Department has the professional knowledge of fire theory fire fighting and fire extinguishing appliances sufficient to carry out the surveys and to make the necessary evaluations of the condition the equipment.

Equipment

Company has portable appliances and equipment to perform proper servicing.

The fixed equipment required for relevant service is installed on the service station.

It is destined for service, survey and testing of high-pressure cylinders, fire extinguishers’ bottles, breathing apparatus’ bottles, fire hoses, etc.

Maintenance and planned survey of equipment and instruments is carried out in accordance with the “Operating Manuals” of manufacturers as recommended.

The consecution of order processing:
Owner’s inquiry with type of vessel, vessel’s fire extinguisher systems, kind of inspection and servicing, terms of execution.
Owner’s written order (confirmation) of inspection and servicing.
Serialization of order in order’s registration book.
Carrying-out of servicing in accordance with owner’s order, requirement of class society and list of works listed in service chat “1-7, S”. If any digression will occur, while executing servicing, the appointed technician has to resolve it at the scene of servicing in accordance with owner’s conformation.
On arriving, appointed technician have to fulfill the report about carried out service with all distinctive features that took a place while servicing. Also he has to check the devices used for servicing.
If distinctive features took a place while servicing, department manager have to make a decision about correction and additions that to be added into company’s quality system based on report of appointed technician.
Carrying-out of UTM in accordance with conditions of owner’s order and requirement of class society. If any digression will occur, while executing UTM, the appointed technician(s) has to resolve it at the scene of servicing in accordance with owner’s conformation.
On arriving, appointed technician have to fulfill the UTM report according to requirements of class society. Also he has to prepare the report about carried out UTM with all distinctive features that took a place while gauging.
If distinctive features took a place while UTM, department manager have to make a decision about correction and additions that to be added into company’s quality system based on report of appointed technician.
Archiving the issued documents to files. Certificate of inspection to be made in two copies. The original to be handed to client.
